The Sickler’s experience is all about the ride and making yours the best it can be. We draw on the vast talents of our staff to make sure every customer is given the attention they deserve and all of their needs are met. At Sickler's we strive to have sometrhing for everyone whether it's your first bicycle or you've been riding for many years. When you purchase a bicycle from Sickler's the experience doesn't end when you walk out the door. We have a community of cyclists that we continually engage through group rides, educational seminars, racing, community events, and more.
Sickler's has been a household word since 1933 in the northeast Pennsylvania cycling community and in 2008 we grew and added a second store in Clarks Summit. We are committed to maintaining the most dependable and professional staff to provide our customers with the quality service they have come to know and expect. We have changed the brands that we carry and the owners have changed over the years, but we have always been the best bicycle shop in the region.
Sickler's has always been on the cutting edge in cycling performance and technology and for the past two years we have been recognized as one of America's Best Bike Shops by the National Bicycle Dealer's Association. We are grateful for the recognition and feel that it is a reflection on our excellemnt staff. Sickler's has also been awarded the "Best Retailer" award from Quality Bicycle Products multiple times in the last few years.
Every February, we proudly sponsor the Spin for Life benefiting the Brandon J. Case Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Cancer Wellness Center of Candy's Place. We work with local organizations like the Countryside Conservancy, Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority, and Friends of Prompton State Park to promote their events and encourage responsible use of our natural resources. Recently we have begun work with the newly created Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling Association to promote cycling at the middle and high school levels. PICA is part of the larger National Interscholastic Cycling Association that is progressing cycling as an organized school sport to increase the number of children exposed to cycling.
